My favourite place in Egypt

I spent Sunday and Monday at Ana Fora, a Coptic (Egyptian Orthodox Christian) monastery/retreat centre/communal farm about an hour and a half from Cairo. I've been all over Egypt, but Ana Fora (which means "Offering" in Greek) is my favourite place.

Supper - the Copts fast from anything that comes from an animal for 55 days prior to Orthodox Easter, so most of the food was vegan, and amazing
